Memorial Weekend

This was a big weekend for us. Friday was Stella's last day of Mother's Morning Out!  What a bittersweet day for us. She was in her MMO program for almost two years! And that was year round.

Here she is at the front of the pack on the bulletin board looking back giving her sassy smile.

We got Braves tickets through JAMCo and headed down for an All-American Friday night.  We stopped at Waffle House for supper and it was perfect. We had a great time.

"Oh Hey, Francouer, you're back! Nice beard!"

Stella was even given a game ball used in the game. Someone tossed it to a lady a few rows back but she shared it with Stella instead. This was after the family behind us at their first game caught a ball. They had two boys and one ran up with his glove to catch one. Stella thought it was the coolest thing and I guess the lady noticed so a little while later when she caught the one thrown to her, she passed it along. So sweet.

We went up top so Stella could run the bases and of course, we were on the lookout for the Home Depot tools, but they didn't come up that game unfortunately.

Squishy faces!

Saturday morning we got up early to run/walk/jog a 5K up on the Marietta Square. It was very pretty and quite pleasant out.  We threw her in the car in her pull-up and pj's and then transferred her to the jogging stroller I borrowed from Melissa.  She snacked and chilled mostly, but did want to get up and run for about 1 minute.  So here she is: bedroom hair, cupcake nightgown, pull-up and green Saucony's. Just the cutest, isn't she?!

Of course, no records were broke for this run. We stopped so.many.times for water, wipes, snacks, more snacks, more water, etc.. but she did good and it was nice to do something together which also helped out our veterans.  We walked through the farmer's market, played on the train and then went home to be lazy.

Sunday, Stella and I visited The Green's at their new house in Marietta. Stella, Landon and Hudson had fun in their backyard splashing around and playing in the water.

Too cute not to capture!

Monday we went up to Lake Allatoona to go out on the lake with The Hancock and The Dobbins Families.  Laura and Eric also joined us and we anchored together. We brought food and then grilled out on the boat. We floated, swam, got to see a waterfall and play in it and just had a great time with our friends.

Classic game of "Where's Stella?"

Stella and I even did some tubing together. She loved it.

This was a great All-American weekend and the perfect start to summer.
